Duties and Functions
- Act investigation on walk-in complaints and other cases referred to, and cognizable by the IID office;
- Transmit/file/inquest cases to proper judicial/quasi-judicial authorities for their furtherance and disposition;
- Implement MIAA rules and regulations and submit reports of violations and/or omission of the same to the proper authorities;
- Conduct monitoring of illegal and nefarious activities of subjects at the NAIA and to effect arrest if necessary;
- Conduct intelligence operations from surveillance, information/data gathering, classification, evaluation, to proper disposition of intelligence reports;
- Take care of lost and found items from recovery to proper disposition; and
- Perform other task as the MIAA General Manager may deem necessary.
