Duties and Functions
- Directs and supervises the activities of the Division relative to the provision of medical services to Airport employee, clients passenger and the general public;
- Plans, directs, coordinates and supervises the development and implementation of plans policies and procedure relating to the effective and efficient provision of medical services to the MIAA employees and clientele;
- Initiates and supervises regular medical examination and MIAA employee and officials;
- Supervises the provision of first-aid treatment and other allied services during emergency operations;
- Responds to emergency calls and participates in rescue activities occurring within the Airport Complex;
- Provides medical consultation to airport users and attends to emergencies and accidents involving passengers, airport users and the general public;
- Directs the requisitions of needed medical supplies and materials;
- Plans, assigns and distributes work assignments to subordinates;
- Performs other related functions.
