Duties and Functions
- Plans, directs, coordinate and supervises the Information System Plans and Programs for the Authority;
- Recommends computer systems analysis and design for problem solving and decision-making for all levels of management together with various operations and services;
- Plans, directs, and coordinates standards and specifications in the procurement of computer hardware and software for the use of a various units of MIAA and ensures compliance thereof;
- Develops and establish computer programs and other EDP requirements of units of MIAA;
- Handles, directs and supervises special studies and surveys to evaluate latest trends in MIS and computer systems development and to determine effective Information Technology tools that are applicable and can be adapted by the Authority;
- Provides management with adequate control over information for effective coordination and control of operating units by providing standard data capture and report formats;
- Prepares and disseminates information within its database, local area network operating within the Authority;
- Plans and distributes work assignments to subordinates;
- Perform other related functions.
