Duties and Functions

  • Formulates and recommends training and development policies, systems and procedures;
  • Plans, directs, supervises and coordinates the administration and implementation of the MIAA's training and development programs;
  • Develops course design for training and development programs;
  • Recommends to the General Manager the MIAA's training and development programs;
  • Discusses with all managers/end-users matters pertaining to individual and group training needs;
  • Conducts, coordinates, and evaluates learning programs relative to the improvement of special and supervisory skills, public relations, and work simplification and improvement;
  • Establishes and implement systems and procedures on the conduct of On-the-Job Training for students;
  • Gives work assignments and instructions to subordinates; and
  • Perform other related functions.
