Duties and Functions
- Directs and manages the implementation, construction, maintenance, repair and renovation of NAIA terminals 1, 2, 3 and 4, external buildings and other vertical facilities within the NAIA Complex;
- Directs the inspection of buildings/existing vertical facilities to determine the need for improvements, repair and alterations;
- Directs the preparation and reviews preliminary plans and working drawings of proposed projects for buildings and vertical facilities identified for repair/renovation and makes comments/ recommendations thereof;
- Directs the preparation of program of work, scope of work, cost estimates, bill of material and specifications of proposed projects for vertical facilities identified for repair/renovation;
- Directs and manages construction work in progress for conformance with plans and specifications;
- Directs and manages that all construction and maintenance works carried out by the Division and private contractors comply with plans and specifications;
- Directs and manages the design, fabrication and installation of stickers and signages within the MIAA Complex;
- Recommends measures that shall ensure the efficient provision of construction, repair and maintenance services;
- Directs the submission of report regarding water meter reading for concessionaires within the NAIA Complex;
- Directs and manages the manpower resources and other resources such as equipment/tools/machines which are utilized by the Division;
- Plans and assigns tasks to subordinate employees.
