Duties and Functions
- Directs, plans and supervises the development and implementation of policies and procedures governing the operation, repair and maintenance of electrical equipment and other allied facilities;
- Plans, directs, coordinates and supervises the development program for determining the economic and technical feasibility of proposed construction and/or improvement of power installations, their efficient operation management and maintenance;
- Conducts regular inspections of electrical installations and other facilities to ensure continuous service and to determine conformance to establishment operating procedures;
- Directs and supervises the overall operation and maintenance of electrical equipment and machineries;
- Supervises and takes charge of the preparation of specification of electrical installations;
- Direct and supervises the works of private electrical contractors to ensure conformance with plans and specifications;
- Plans and distributes work assignment to subordinates;
- Performs other related functions.
